Falling 4 Keeley Kay

11.12.11

Today was Daddy’s birthday! To celebrate, Mama and Daddy had some of their closest friends over for chili and drinks. Keeley Kay was once again the hit of the party, showing off her precious personality and posing for some holiday pictures. Little did the family know that out of a casual night with friends would Mama and Daddy score a great Christmas card photo, thanks to their buddy Marek’s awesome photography skills.

Happy Birthday!!

11.17.11

It's Friday night and Keeley Kay needs to have some fun on the town. Mama, Daddy, Grandma and Papa Keeley took Keeley Kay to Chuckie Cheese to burn off some energy. Not a very relaxing night for Mama and Daddy, who had to chase Miss Keeley Kay all over the place, but what a fun night for the little princess.

11.19.11

Today is Cousin Shayden’s last soccer game of the season. Coming in as number one, Keeley Kay was so happy to see the Eagle’s final win.

Later that day Keeley Kay headed to Dos Lagos to meet more family for dinner, but not before seeing a real life reindeer!!!

11.21.11

It’s the holidays and that means the family must head to Disneyland to see the new Christmas decorations. First, everyone went to Benihana to celebrate Daddy’s birthday before heading out to the Disneyland park where Aunt Shannon, Uncle Bill and Cousins Shyler and Shayden met up with them for some holiday fun!

11.24.11

Gobble…Gobble…Gobble! Happy Thanksgiving!! Decked out in her adorable turkey jog suit, Miss Keeley Kay headed over to Aunt Shannon’s house for some turkey!! Keeley Kay ate like a truck driver, devouring very morsel of the delicious holiday feast!

Go Bruins! Showing support for Daddy’s school, the family dressed up in their fan gear to watch the game! Though UCLA may have suffered an embarrassing loss to USC, the family still had a fun-filled day, topping it all off with a scrumptious meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory.

Time for Knott’s Berry Farm Christmas Crafter’s Village!! Keeley Kay, wearing her fabulous leopard Christmas dress, met Santa Clause for the first the time. After seeing him on T.V and in books all season, Keeley Kay was a little star-stuck, practically going comatose on Santa’s lap. At least she didn’t scream in his face.

After Keeley Kay came out of shock, the family spent the day roaming around the craft village, even stopping at the graveyard where Daddy asked Mama to be in girlfriend at seventeen. But all that walking and excited sure worked up an appetite and the family headed to Mrs. Knott’s Chicken House for a yummy and filling meal.

Black Magic Baby

10.01.11

Being that there is still hot sun, what better way to kick off October then with a pool party? Mama and Daddy invited some of their closest friends over for some BBQ and swim time. Fall may be near, but summer is still here!

10.02.11

Aunt Shannon’s birthday is today and the family came out to celebrate. Loving the excitement of hibachi cooking, everyone met at Bari Bari for a little entertainment and lots of yummy food. Later the party continued to Aunt Shannon’s house where Keeley Kay discovered her love for demon babies. Hmmm. Spooky.

10.08.11

It may be hot, but it is time to get ready for Halloween. Mama, Daddy, Grandma and Papa Keeley, Grandma Coni and Uncle Liam took Keeley Kay to Tom’s Farms for the pumpkin patch. Keeley Kay loved picking out her first pumpkin and riding the train and the merry-go-round. It was a fun-filled day just right for getting in the spirit of Fall.

10.10.11

Today the family celebrated Grandma Keeley’s birthday! The family started with lunch at Benihana, then it was off to Disneyland. It was a crazy and busy day leaving Keeley Kay exhausted!!

10.17.11

Because Disneyland was so busy on Grandma Keeley’s birthday the family made another go at the amusement park the next week. As usual the day started with Papa’s birthday lunch at Benihana followed by a day at Disney. All the Halloween décor was up and Keeley Kay loved every ounce of the spookiness. She didn’t even flinch on the Haunted House ride. Papa really enjoyed holding Miss Keeley Kay on the Small World (his favorite), making his birthday wish complete. Despite the all the fun on the rides, Papa and Keeley Kay’s favorite activity was feeding the ducks at the Hungry Bear.

10.24.11

Halloween is getting closer, so Mama and Daddy wanted to make sure Keeley Kay experienced all the festivities this time of year has to offer. The park had whole Halloween inspired set up, with a pumpkin patch, train ride, pony rides, hay maze, hay ride and haunted house. Keeley Kay had a blast running around exploring all the activities and went through the haunted house three times. After running through the hay maze and helping Cousin Shayden pick out his pumpkins, the family worked up quite an appetite. AuntShannon made beef stroganoff for dinner, but thanks to Uncle Bill’s suggestion Keeley Kay’s third bowl mostly ended up in her hair. Ewwww.

10.29.11

Today is Papa Keeley’s actual birthday so the family all went for a delicious dinner at Don Jose’s. Keeley Kay has no problem with flavor and spices, so Mexican food is always a winner for this little eater.

10.31.11

The grand finally to the month of October is Halloween night. This is Mama’s favorite holiday and by golly she was going to make it amazing for Keeley Kay. Dressed like the cutest little witch this side of Eastwick, Miss Keeley Kay worked it all night long. After a yummy chili dinner at Aunt Shannon’s the Cousins made their scary transformations. Keeley Kay may only be fourteen months old, but she had no problem trick-or-treating. Nothing scares her and she walked the whole neighborhood without any whining. Mama and Daddy were very grateful for all the candy Keeley Kay had collected for them.

The Jack-O-Lanterns are smiling bright

For they light way for all things that go bump in the night

The Ghouls, Ghosts and Goblins are running about

But don’t be afraid when the lights go out

Keeley Kay just giggles and says “BOO!”

Take her hand she’ll show you

That it is all just for fun, no need to be scared

Embrace the frightening, If you dare
