Keeley Kay’s first time to Mama and Daddy’s favorite Pub!! It was about time Keeley Kay was integrated into the pub culture and Mama couldn’t wait to show her off! It was a busy and loud night, but Keeley Kay remained cool, calm and collected; basking in the carefree atmosphere. The only problem…Keeley Kay kept trying to grab Mama’s beer! Oh no what are they creating???

The next night it was Daddy and his friend Derrik’s duty to show potential grad-students a good time. Daddy decided to bring Keeley Kay to party with him. Dressed in her COG SCI onesie, Keeley Kay stole the show.

What a beautiful day for a drive out to visit some family? Keeley Kay spent this glorious Saturday catching up with her Great-Great Aunt Betty and Cousin Carol. It was a fun day of story-telling, eating and drinking. Keeley Kay had her first taste of chocolate from Mama’s brownie and she was hooked!! Oh no sugar!!

SUPERBOWL!!! Always a big event in this family, Keeley Kay dressed up and headed to Uncle Johnny’s house for some football fun. The family, however, was distracted from the game as Keeley Kay stole the attention away with her sparkling personality.

Keeley Kay is moving on up…to carrots that is. She is now eating veggies and loves them! It was no surprise to Mama and Daddy that Keeley Kay would love to eat, but they were thrilled to see her devour her vegetables! Yummy!
She also got a special gift from Daddy; her first bouncer! Keeley Kay loves to jump and play all day long!

Keeley Kay at Happy Hour again? No. What is special about this day is that it was Keeley Kay’s first time in a highchair at a restaurant!!! She felt like such a big girl and was happy to socialize with everyone that walked past her seat!

Party time!! This time it was for Keeley Kay’s Cousin Sarah’s 21st Bday Bash. Another beautiful day in So Cal; Keeley Kay spent most her time outside enjoying the weather and the pool view. This was also a special day, because Keeley Kay made a new friend. Sophie is only a week older came to the party to play!

Keeley Kay’s younger cousin is almost here!! To celebrate and prepare for her/his arrival Keeley Kay went to Aunt Shannon’s Baby Shower, where she visited with tons of family and friends. Dressed like a little Diva, Keeley Kay was showered with love and attention.

It may seem that Keeley Kay has mingled with everyone in Cali, but remarkably she hadn’t met her Aunt Nancy, Cousin Natalie or her Cousin Kayla until now!! Coming down from Northern California for a quick visit to family, the Porters were able to squeeze Miss Keeley Kay in person! It was a wonderful night of family, fun and pizza!

Keeley Kay’s first over night vacation!!! Mama and Daddy like to celebrate their anniversary by going to the mountains, but this year they couldn’t bare leaving Keeley Kay behind. So Mama and Daddy decided to make it a family trip and brought Grandma and Grandpa Keeley along for the fun.

It was Keeley Kay’s first time seeing snow and she wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. Papa grabbed some fresh fallen snow from outside and placed it on her highchair so that she could taste it, play with it and feel comfortable with its cold icy texture.

Mama and Daddy were so thrilled that they vowed to take her on every trip they go on! Forget about the Traveling Nome. Keeley Kay is the Traveling Baby!!

No time to rest. Despite just returning from the mountains, Keeley Kay is off to another event. This time she is out celebrating her Cousin Shawn Shawn’s 19th birthday! Dinner at Bari Bari hit the spot, then it was off to Aunt Shannon’s to enjoy some cake and the company of family and friends. Cousin Sharissa’s friends stopped by the house just to say, “hi” to Miss Keeley Kay. This was Steno’s first time meeting Keeley Kay and was eager to squeeze her to pieces.

Aunt Shannon laughed Cousin Shyler right out of her! That’s right! Aunt Shannon went into labor that night and at 11:30 am the next day little baby Shyler was born. What an exciting day. Keeley Kay was not allowed into the hospital room to meet Shyler that day, but she got to hang out with Cousin Sharissa while Mama and Daddy went in to meet the little guy. Crazy how life is; exactly six months to the day of Keeley Kay’s birth, her best friend was born.
