Santa Baby

12.03.11

On this crisp afternoon, Keeley Kay played outside, exploring the leaves and their different shapes and colors. The little scientist enjoyed trying to find the tree each leaf fell from. Oh the things that entertain little ones.

First Christmas party of the season! Grandma Coni had all her family over for some yummy food and lively conversation. Everyone took turns posing for pictures in front of her beautifully decorated Christmas tree, which has become a family tradition. A little older now, Keeley Kay really enjoyed playing with all her cousins. What a merry evening.

Bundled up in their heavy coats and gloves, Keeley Kay and her family strolled along East Lake Village to see their annual Holiday Lights Boat Parade. As the Christmas lights glistened off the sparkling water, the neighbors enjoyed their wine on heated patios wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Tonight Keeley Kay, Grandma and Papa Keeley, Mama, Aunt Shannon, Cousins Shyler, Sharissa and Shayden went to the park for the Christmas festivities. First Keeley Kay met Mrs. Clause and was she so excited! Sharissa and Shayden decorated Christmas cookies as Keeley Kay took in all the lights. Soon it was time to hop on the Christmas train to meet Santa. It was a chilly night and Keeley had to wear Shayden’s jacket and Shyler’s hat, but what a fun-filled evening.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house the family was eating, drinking and having a merry ol’ time. Christmas Eve at Great-Grandma Rosemary’s was night filled with family and fun. Keeley Kay was full of excitement and loved watching everyone open their presents. Her highlight of the night was playing with Cousin Rachel. In fact, she didn’t want to go with Mama when it was time to leave, but it was time to get home and ready for Santa to come.

Merry Christmas!!! Keeley Kay must have been a good girl because Santa brought some cool toys. Keeley Kay was so excited she didn’t know what to play with first. After a very enjoyable morning, Keeley Kay and her family got ready to go to Aunt Shannon’s for Christmas dinner. Keeley Kay and her Cousin Shyler had a ball playing with all their new toys and eating all that yummy food, leaving them both full and exhausted! Good night to all and to all a good night.

12.31.11

The last day of 2011 means party time, for it is Cousin Sharissa’s birthday as well. There was a whole day of activities planned starting with lunch at Rutabegorz. Mimosas, olive and cream cheese sandwiches and sunshine. Oh My! Afterward, the group headed to Newport Beach and continued the party at Zach’s new digs before heading to Aunt Shannon’s for dinner and champagne! Soon it was midnight the New Year had begun. Goodbye 2011!
