Keeley Kay Day by Day: May 2012

Today Keeley Kay and Lil Bro Kevin started kicked off spring by meeting the Easter Bunny. Keeley Kay loved the Easter Bunny and didn’t want to leave, but Mama promised a delicious lunch at Red Robin in return for compliance.

At lunch Lil Bro Kevin slept, while Keeley Kay ate like a big girl with her spoon.

After some shopping Keeley Kay, Lil Bro Kevin, Mama, Daddy, Papa and Grandma met up with Aunt Shannon, Uncle Bill and Cousin Shyler at the train station to have some drinks, enjoy the sun and watch the trains come and go before having a fabulous dinner at Spaghetti Factory. Keeley Kay and Cousin Shyler were having an amazing time!

On this hot and sunny day, Keeley Kay, Mama, Cousin Sharissa, Cousin Shayden and Cousin Shyler went to the nature reserve for a leisurely walk. Keeley Kay loves nature, in particular leaves!

Time to get out and have some fun! Today the family let loose at Dave & Buster’s, where Keeley Kay had a blast running around and playing games. Lil Bro Kevin, again, slept the whole time. Beer stop at Alcatraz!

Happy Easter! Keeley Kay was super excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought her in her basket. Then it was off to find the Easter eggs hidden all over the room. Next it was time to hop over to Aunt Shannon’s for Easter dinner.

Another blazing hot day in April! Cousin Sharissa, Cousin Shayden and Cousin Shyler came over to hangout poolside with Keeley Kay, Lil Bro Kevin, Mama and Grandma!

Grandma Coni paid a visit to her two grandbabies today. She bathed and cuddled Lil Bro Kevin while Keeley and Daddy had fun being silly.

Today Lil Bro Kevin is a month old and it was also his first trip to Disneyland. Daddy packed a delicious and healthy lunch for the family to enjoy waterside. Keeley Kay loved her turkey sandwich with a view, but with the view came a big net of smelly fish! POOCHIE!

The Ariel ride is one Keeley Kay’s favorites, so Mama and Daddy took on over and over again. And don’t forget the ocean creature carousel! Keeley Kay got to ride the giant gold fish this time!

After a few fun hours at Disney’s California Adventure, the family headed out early to catch happy hour at Benihana. Not as relaxing with two tired babies, but still just as yummy!

No April showers here! Uh-uh. Today the sun was shining bright. Taking of advantage of the welcomed heat Keeley Kay, Lil Bro Kevin and their cousins Shay and Shy burned off some energy poolside. Lil Bro Kevin was spent!

Another hot April day only can mean one thing! Yup, pool time! Today was special, because Cousin Shawn Shawn came out to play and then Aunt Shannon and cousins Shay and Shy came over for dinner.

It’s the weekend and Daddy is home! Daddy couldn’t wait to see Keeley Kay swim in her new water wings. Not only was cousin Shay and Shy there to play, but Lil Bro Kevin loved basking in the spring sun.

After morning bath time, which Lil Bro Kevin LOVES the family made their way to the swap meet. Luckily there was an Irish Festival going on so the adults could sip on green beer while Shy and Keeley Kay watched the little Irish dancers. Because it was also Earth Day, Keeley Kay got to meet a giant walking tree lady. Hmmm.

It’s always fun when family visits, but today was super special. Aunt Kathy and Uncle came out to visit with Keeley Kay and Lil Bro Kevin. Keeley Kay loves her Aunt Kathy and Uncle Wendell and could wait to show them how she swims!

To wrap up April, the family went to Disneyland again. This time Keeley Kay got to meet a few princesses. Keeley Kay was so excited, but when it was time to leave the beautiful princesses she had a little meltdown, breaking their hearts.

Keeley Kay quickly recovered when Mama and Daddy took her to see Goofy’s house and Donald Duck’s boat. While in Toon Town Pluto unexpectedly jumped in the family picture making the picture super memorable.

Next it was time to get their spots for the parade. It was a long wait, but it was worth it! Keeley Kay had so much fun seeing all her favorite Disney characters up close. Keeley Kay captured the attention of the all the parade performers, she even got a high-five from one of the dancers.
