Mama and Grandma Keeley decided to brave Disney’s California Adventure alone with the kids. Kevin Ross slept most the day, so it was like having a girls’ day out.

Our first family RV trip! Thanks to Aunt Shannon and Uncle Bill, the family has added a new way to spend time together. Keeley Kay and Kevin Ross loved spending their days outside, burning off tons of energy in beautiful surroundings. The first day started with a bang…or a bit actually. Poor Keeley Kay sat on a rock that happened to be covered in fire ants, sending her screaming for Mama. When Mama inspected her backside, she was shocked to discover Keeley Kay’s legs and booty covered in red welts. Keeley Kay handled it like a champ, not crying and holding still while Cousin Sharissa busted out her first-aid kit.
Other than Keeley Kay getting attacked by ants, the day went swimmingly. Literally. After squeezing Kevin Ross’s fat-sausage body into his trunks, he got to take a dip in the pool for the first time.

The next day the family popped a bottle of bubbly to toast our first RV trip to Vail Lake. Then it was game day! They played everything from miniature golf to horseshoes. The rest of the day was spent cooling down in the refreshing pool, enjoying the sunset and chowing down on dinner under the stars.
It may have been the first trip, but it certainly wasn’t the last! Thanks Aunt Shannon and Uncle Bill!
