First Month's First

Not only did Keeley Kay have many come to her, Keeley Kay did not shy away from coming to them. Unlike most newborns that hide away protectively behind closed doors, Keeley Kay was out and about within days!

Her first outing was five days A.B (after birth). Keeley Kay had her first Doctor’s appointment, which she didn’t like too much.

After yet another traumatizing experience, Mama rewarded Keeley Kay with a trip to visit Grandma Keeley at work and her first trip to Mama’s favorite store Target (say without pronouncing the last “T”).

It’s the happiest season of all…Football Season that is and Mama and Daddy wanted to break Keeley Kay in early. The first official football game of the season just so happened to feature one of Mama and Daddy’s favorite teams, the Saints! To celebrate this joyous occasion the family dressed up in their gear and made their way to Uncle Johnny’s house where Cousin Sarah and BF Corrie got to meet Keeley Kay for the first time!

Next stop for Keeley Kay was Steelhead, where Mama and Daddy were regulars, to watch the Charger Game and enjoy one dollar tacos. Keeley Kay was so well behaved that Mama and Daddy made the decision to bring her every Monday!

Because Grandma Coni was so good about coming to visit Keeley Kay, Mama decided to bring her to visit Grandma Coni. Upon hearing of Keeley Kay’s appearance, more family stopped by to meet the little bundle of joy for the first time.

Thanks to an invitation by Cousin Sharissa, Keeley Kay, Mama, Daddy and Grandma Keeley met for lunch at P.J’s Abby. As they dinned at the old church turned bistro, they proceeded to enjoy a delicious meal and great conversation.

After Grandpa Keeley showed up and Cousin Sharissa left for school, Keeley Kay, Mama, Daddy, Grandpa Keeley and Grandma Keeley enjoyed a lovely day at Orange Circle. It was the perfect day to just stroll around from shop to shop and café to café.

Wanting to get out and take pleasure in summer sun, Mama and Daddy took Keeley Kay to the swamp-meet for the first time. Grandma Coni and Grandma Keeley were there to show Keeley Kay how much fun a day of shopping with the girls can be!

Ready for something more lively, Keeley Kay attended her first birthday. Her Cousin Coco was turning 14 and it was time to party. Everyone was so excited for Keeley Kay to arrive, that Mama and Daddy didn’t even get to hold her the rest of the night!

Game Time!!! Thanks to Mama’s purchases from their trip to the swamp-meet, Keeley Kay was ready for game day! Go Chargers!!

Wanting to meet Keeley Kay, Mama’s friend Brianna came out have lunch at Steelhead and watch the game.

Football Season continued and Mama and Daddy took Keeley Kay back to Steelhead, as promised, for Monday Night Football. It was a wonderful night, in which Mama and Daddy’s closest friends came out to welcome Keeley Kay into the group!

Now having acquired the taste for parties, Keeley Kay was invited to attend Daddy’s Cog Sci Department Reception. Dressed like the Princess she is, Keeley Kay was the bell of the ball. Keeley Kay was welcomed warmly into the department as a Cog Sci baby!

Party time again!! This time Keeley Kay made an appearance at her cousin Bradly’s first birthday party. It was a hot summer day and Keeley Kay was smoking! Looking too cute to resist, Keeley Kay was passed around like a hot potato. Keeley Kay got to visit with loved ones and meet more family for the first time. It was a long, hot and fabulous day of excitement.

To end her first month, Keeley Kay went back to where it all started, Huntington Beach. Exactly a month earlier Mama went into labor one hour after returning home from the beach. Now Keeley Kay is here and life has never been more beachy!!
